News upon the STC
Blue Skies Aviation Oy and Joen Service Oy have started common business called “Joen Service Lahti Oy”. STC rights will be transferred shortly to new commonly owned business.
With the arragement both Joen Service and Blue Skies Aviation seek mutual benefits from involved parties experties. CoB of Joen Service Lahti, Tommi Matikainen, states that “with this arrangement we seek growth and scalability to STC and we hope to gain possibility to provide this product to flight schools, clubs and individuals in the near future”
A goal has been set to convert one C150 in 2022 to gain experience in the production to cover possible pitfalls and to get precise understanding of the actual cost of STC kit. After first conversion a full scale production capability should be achieved.
After the first conversion starts this page will naturally be updated to keep all interestes parties up-to-date.
Co-operation of Blue Skies Aviation Oy And Atol Avion Oy ended
As stated in the header, co-operation between two companies have ended. The past years have been difficult and the process that involved changes to STC so it could be produced have been pretty much frozen.
Despite the termination of the so-operation, Blue Skies Aviation Oy drives forward to release STC for markets as soon as reasonably possible.

Blue Skies Aviation Oy and Atol Avion Oy to co-operation
The beginning of production is now one step closer as Blue Skies Avitation and Atol avion Oy (www.atol.fi) have agreed upon co-operation to begin the STC kit production in the near future.
“The co-operation enables us to actually provide STC kits to customers as now we have only been an STC holder without production capability. It is in our hopes that the production could start during winter 2018-2019 and the first conversion could be done during that perioid” says Antti Kääriäinen, Chairman of the board of Blue Skies Aviation.
Atol Avion Oy produces amphibious aircrafts in Rovaniemi.
EASA STC papers released
Blue Skies Aviation Oy has completed the tranfer of ownership process. Next we will concentrate on bringing up the production!
